Where are your products available?

Marisa Foods products are primarily distributed throughout Southern and Central California.

Where do you deliver?

We are able to deliver to businesses located throughout Los Angeles and Orange County.

Where can I purchase your products for my restaurant?

Please see our distributor page or call our office at (562) 437-7775 so we can help you find your best option.

Do you only produce Italian meat products?

Although most of our current product line consists of Italian meats, we manufacture a variety of flavor profiles such as Cajun, Bratwurst, Chorizo, Various chicken links and Asian meatballs, to name a few.

What types of companies do you service?

Marisa Foods services distributors, restaurant chains, supermarkets and other manufacturers.

Can you package your items in bulk?

Yes, we can package our products in bulk for ease of use in further manufacturing.

How do I place an order?

What are your order lead times?

Order lead times depend on the type of account and order quantity, but a 2-week lead time is appreciated.

What food safety certifications are implemented at your plant?

Marisa Foods is committed to food safety for the benefit of its customers, vendors, and the general public. We certify that Marisa Foods is a federally -inspected meat plant operating under a registered USDA establishment number. In addition, Marisa Foods has fully implemented and maintained the required Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) program in accordance with Title 9 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Parts 416 and 417, and the Control of Listeria Monocytogenes in postlethality exposed Ready-to-Eat (RTE) products in accordance with Title 9 CFR, Part 430. We have a USDA inspector present in our plant and receive a 3 rd party audit on a yearly basis.

 

Warehouse FAQ:

What are your warehouse hours?

Our warehouse hours are Monday through Friday 6:40am to 2:30pm

How do I make a dock appointment?

You can request a dock appointment by calling (562) 437-7775 or emailing orders@marisafoods.com.

What information is needed to schedule my appointment?

Please provide us with the name of the vendor or customer, a contact name and number, the name of the carrier, the P.O. number, and case or pallet count.

 

Co-Packing FAQ:

What are your minimums?

Minimum orders vary according to the type of product, but, as a general rule, the minimum order quantity is 2,500 lbs.

Do I need to source my own ingredients?

You do not need to source your own ingredients.  We can source all of the ingredients for your formula.

What are your packaging capabilities?

Please see our packaging page.

Are you able to package sauce in bottles or cans?

No, we do not have canning or bottling capabilities.  We package sauce in 1 gallon pouches or 1 gallon & 5 gallon tubs.

What is the label approval process?

Labels must be compliant with the USDA/FSIS labeling requirements.  Once product R&D has been completed, labels will be submitted to the FSIS for approval.

 

Private Labeling:

Are samples available?

Yes.  We will send samples to prospective clients.

Are there a variety of pack sizes to choose from?

Please see our private label packaging page for further information.

Do you provide graphic design services for labels?

We do not offer design services but can recommend designers, if needed.
